Our loving father and grandfather passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2021. Age 76 years.
He was born on March 13, 1945, son of the late Beatrice (Bailey) and Delbert Letson, in Saginaw. Delbert retired from General Motors and was a member of the U.A.W. He married Laurine Glaser, she predeceased him. Delbert loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, trapping and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Delbert will be remembered for being a loving, caring and supportive father and grandfather. His robust voice and presence will be missed.
Surviving are his children, Anita (Keith) Grubaugh, Laurie (Lonnie) Letts and Delbert Letson, II; grandchildren, August, Charles, Zachary, Jessica, Raquel, Breanna, Shayla, Star, Kevin and Deacon; many great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Shoemaker, Helen Tyson, Margarite (Gary) Vander Veen, Betty Lynn (Paul) Warren, Alfred (Cindy) Letson, Rod (Cindy) Warren and Chuck (Maria) Letson. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Faith Letts.
Honoring Delbert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
