Beloved mother and grandmother and friend passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Edgewood Assisted Living at the age of 77 years. Deanna was born December 15, 1943 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Audrey F. (Cormier) Dimmitt. She married Stanley D. Hatter April 10, 1971 in Dundee, Michigan. Stanley predeceased her November 14, 1989.
Deanna was a loving mother, who raised her kids on her own after her husband’s untimely passing. She always selflessly gave of herself to her family and friends whenever they needed help. She had many friends who loved her. Deanna loved gardening and cooking.
Surviving are her Children: Jason M. (Jennifer) Hatter and Sarah E. Hatter: grandchildren: Jillian (Duke) Ekstrom, Garrett (Amanda) Walraven; great grandchildren: Jayden and Kaylee Reyes, Sebastian Ekstrom and Asher Walraven. Besides her husband Stanley and her parents Deanna was predeceased by her sister Sharon Cauble and nephew Steve Cauble.
Cremation has taken place. Private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Saginaw Rescue Mission or your local community shelter.
