David L. Wasalaski

Wasalaski, David L. Birch Run, Michigan Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, age 70 years. He was born on April 1, 1946, son of the late Barney J. and Regina "Jean" (Witowski) Wasalaski, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He married Norma Jean Reinhardt on March 15, 1986, she survives him. David retired from General Motors after 30.2 years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699. He enjoyed umpiring, playing euchre and spending time with his family. Besides his wife, Norma Jean, he is survived by his son, David Allen (Tina) Wasalaski; his daughter, Loretta (Larry) Myers; his grandchildren, Courtney, Allison and Jocey Wasalaski, his step grandchildren, Danielle (Ethan) Lundquist and Bradley Myers; his great granddaughter, Raelynn Myers; also many very special friends. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. W. Roger Stauffer will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Saturday from Noon until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the college fund set up for his grandchildren.
