Daniel Ray Baase

Baase, Daniel Ray Saginaw, Michigan Our loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Friday, September 13, 2013, age 53 years. Daniel was born in Saginaw, Michigan September 17, 1959 the son of Norita (Wagner) and the late Raymond Baase. He married Marcy Beaudin August 19, 1989 and she survives him. Daniel retired from Dow Corning, Hemlock Semi-conductor. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing golf and was a strong Detroit sports enthusiast. In addition to his wife, Marcy, Daniel is survived by two children, Michael P. (Christie) Beck and Michelle Marie Baase; a granddaughter, Hallie Kate Beck; his mother, Norita (Keith) Baase-Shei; a sister, Cheryl (Mark) Miller; a brother, Alan (Kathy) Baase; two brothers-in-law, Thomas (Sheri) Beaudin and Albert (Holly) Beaudin; a sister-in-law, Patricia Neurminger; many nieces and nephews and several close friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joel and Ray and a sister, Kim. The funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Tuesday from 3:00 8:00 p.m. and at church Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
