Dalanna Grace Boertman

Dalanna Grace Boertman Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at her home. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Grace (Falkenhagen, Laurenz) and Dale Edgar Smith was born November 13, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was raised by her mother and step-father, the late Ralph Frederick Evert. Dalanna married Jon Randall Boertman, May 6, 1961. Her husband of 58 years survives her. She had been employed as a secretary. She enjoyed gardening, homemaking and collecting Hummel figurines. Surviving besides her husband, Jon, are a daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Mark Collier; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Jacob. Her step-brother, Robert Evert, has also predeceased her. In accordance with Dalannas wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visit will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society or Southern Care Hospice.
