Cruz G. Jackson

Our loving mother and grandmother was ushered into Heaven and reunited with her husband Fernando, on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Age 88 years. She was born on May 8, 1930, daughter of the late Jose and Auerlia (Arranda) Garcia, in Cadereyta, Mexico. Cruz married Fernando Jackson, Sr. on August 9, 1948. He predeceased her on July 25, 1996. She was a faithful member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher and Soul Winner. She loved to worship the Lord and living her life according to His word. Her faith was very important to her. Cruz loved to cook, sew, collecting eagles and spending time with her family. She will be missed by her children, Rosalinda (Ken) Marlow, Antonia (Sergio) Ali, Sofia Jackson, Leonor "Margie" (Francisco) Trevino, Andrea (Rafael) Torres; 57 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also her special friends, Abbey, Rachel, Liz, Dina and Tati. She was predeceased by her sons, Fernando Jackson Jr. and Richard G. Jackson. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Lou Jurva and Pastor Sergio Ali will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the chapel from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
