Clarence S. Watkins Jr.

Clarence S. Watkins Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on April 5, 2018, at the age of 86 years. Clarence was born November 15, 1931, in Saginaw to the late Marian (Waters) and Clarence Watkins Sr. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1955. He retired from Grey Iron after many years of service. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He loved traveling, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marlyn (Peters) Watkins; son Mark (Rita) Watkins; grandsons, Lucus (Kimberly) Watkins and Brandon Watkins; great-granddaughter, Sadie Watkins; daughter-in-law, Teresa Watkins; and nieces and nephews, Karen and Diane Watkins, Jim (Joyce) Peters, David Peters, and Michael Peters; great-niece and great-nephew, Rebecca and Christopher Peters. He was predeceased by his son Matthew Watkins; brother, Clifton Watkins; grandson, Reggie; and brother-in-law, James (Dorothy) Peters. Private family services will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saginaw County Commission on Aging.
