McQuaid, Christine E. "Chrissy" Saginaw, MI Loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on November 11, 2017 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at the age 50 years. The daughter of JoAnn (Milano) and the late Lester McQuaid was born on September 18, 1967 in Saginaw. She worked as a dental assistant for Faucher Family Dental and later Great Lakes Family Dental. Chrissy was a member of St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, movies and her beloved cats. Surviving are her mother, JoAnn McQuaid, best friend Gillian Edwards, her siblings: Lynn (David) Colbert, Michael (Jackie) McQuaid, niece Stacie (Jared) Alcorn and her cherished cats: Chichi and Stink Bug. Besides her father, Lester, Chrissy was predeceased by her grandmother, Olga Evans. A memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Saginaw County Humane Society.
