Chris Laurence Jurik Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Covenant Cooper. Age 43 years. Chris was born June 14, 1973, the son of Joan Jurik and the late Rev. Bruno Kaczmarczyk. He married Angie Kern, August 16, 2003. She survives him. He was employed by Nexteer. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin near Harrison, Michigan with family and friends. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. Surviving besides his wife, Angie, and his mother, Joan, are his daughter, Sydnee Jurik; his mother-in-law, Patricia Lambert; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark and Mary Kern; Tim and Kim Kern; Paul and Lisa Kern; many nieces and nephews; his sisters, Lea Larson and Andrea and Dave Gunsell. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Noon Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Blvd at Mackinaw. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial service.
