Lemmer, Charles R. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 82 years. He was born October 7, 1933, in Saginaw, the son of the late Lloyd and Minnie (Bean) Lemmer. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1951, and later received a business/accounting degree. He served with the US Army during the Korean War. He married Janice E. Gosen on June 30, 1956; she predeceased him this past week on April 8, 2016. He retired from G. W. Heating and also owned various businesses in the area. He was a member of the Lutheran Faith. He was also a member of the L.O.O.M. Lodge #82 and the Fordney Club. He enjoyed golfing, boating and bowling. He was an amazing family man, enjoying time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Darci and Bill Chambers, Auburn; Greg and Helen Lemmer, San Mateo, CA; Brian and Mary Lemmer, Breckenridge; Anne' and Douglas Hughes, Hemlock; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Brandon Schrader; Brecka and Cable Johnson; Melissa Chambers and Martin Gibbons; Chastity Hopkins; Joshua and Kim Lemmer; Jillian and Andy Fazakerley; Nathan Hopkins; Emily Hughes; Riley Hughes; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Doolittle. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where his family will receive friends from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and then on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
