Ault, Charles Emil Saginaw, Michigan Charles Emil Ault, our beloved husband, dad, father-in-law, grandpa, papa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully with his wife and daughters at his side Sunday, September 1, 2013. Charles was born September 21, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late Emil John and Hazel (Thomas) Ault. He married Stella Mary Jozwiak on July 29, 1946. He served as a pilot in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII and was a proud veteran. He retired as an engineer from Michigan Bell Telephone in 1982 after 36 years of service. Charlie and Stella then enjoyed a fulfilling life of fun, travel and golf and spending time with friends and family. He made a lasting impression of everyone he met and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know this wonderful man. Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his wife and best friend of 67 years, Stella; four children, Geri Ault, Tom Ault and his wife, Debbie; Lory Ault-Mauro, Ron Ault and his wife, Jennele; a son-in-law, Chuck Bohinski; six grandchildren, Jason Bohinski (Amy Becker), Kelley Bohinski (Kevin Peters), Marquise Mauro, Alison Mauro-Lantz (Jason Lantz), Aubrie Mauro and Colby Mauro; five great-grandchildren, Austin Bohinski, Tommy Wolfe, Taylor Bohinski, Kade Peters and Kyler Peters; two step-grandchildren, Kenady and Karsyn Sasse; a brother, Dick Ault and his wife, Penny; lifelong friend since the age of 3, Morris Sykes; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Emil and Hazel; his brothers, Jack, Jim and Bill Ault; daughter, Rae Anne Ault Bohinski and grandson, Greggory Wolfe. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Tim Hastings will officiate with burial of ashes at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military services under the auspices of American Legion Post No. 439. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Friday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to American Legion Post No. 439 or the Alzheimer's Association.
