Casesar Martin Donajkowski

Caesar Martin Donajkowski Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Cartwright Care Center at the age 77 years. Caesar was born January 31, 1938, in Holland, New York to the late Harry and Mary (Swedo) Donajkowski. He was a charter member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and Wanigas. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4232 where he called BINGO for many decades. Caesar was proud to serve in the U.S. Army for two years. He opened up his home serving as a foster parent to many children. He married Charmaine Monville on January 2, 1960; she predeceased him on May 2, 2005. He is survived by his children, Ronda Norlock, Caesar "Sid" Donajkowski Jr., Mark Anthony Donajkowski; grandchildren, Catrice, Clinton, Nichole, Tyler; great-grandchildren, Bianca, Christina, Ariana, Deanna, Olivia, Clinton Jr., Alexzander, Madelyn, Mira, Sophie, and Lelynd; siblings, Harry and Delano Donajkowski, and Joan (Dennis) Souffrin; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. He was predeceased by his children Joseph and Theresa; and grandson, David. The funeral liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Saginaw. Rev. Richard Bokinskie will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and 2:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday where the Knights of Columbus Council #4232 will pray the Rosary at 3:00 p.m. The parish vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the St. Jude Children's Hospital. www.casefuneralhome.com
