Bernetha Cline

Cline, Bernetha Hemlock, MI Passed away Monday, November 23, 2015, age 96 years. Bernetha Wittig was born September 10, 1919 in Gratiot County, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Rector) Wittig. She enjoyed reading, traveling and camping. She loved spending time with her family. Bernetha is survived by two children, Clayton J. Smith and Berneice Reuther; seven grandchildren, Fred (Lori) Smith, Lori (Ron) Lamb, Walter (Shannon) Smith, Joseph Reuther, Valerie (Andy) Street, Monica Smith and Jack (Shawna) Smith; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Cline; a son, Larry Smith and five siblings, Anna Klutts, Harvey Wittig, Clara Preston, Clayton Wittig and Marvel Snyder. The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company, Merrill, MI. Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharzyk will officiate with burial in Richland Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel, Friday from 2:00 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
