Barbara Jeanne Kelly

Passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 75 years. The daughter of the late Delphine (Rembish) and Matthew Kwapis was born March 6, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married William A. Kelly Jr., August 3, 1963. He passed away April 13, 2015. Barbara was a longtime employee of the State of Michigan and a member of the UAW Local 6000. She was a member of Ss. Francis and Clare Parish, Birch Run. Surviving are three children, David Kelly and his wife, Michelle; Peggy Beck and Hank Lantvit; Wayne Kelly and his wife, Amy; nine grandchildren, Magen Kelly; Drew Kelly; Samantha Booms and her husband, Alex; Alexandra Beck; Trevor Beck; Samantha and her husband, Kyle Wilson; Matthew Kelly and his wife, Julie; Craig Kelly; Haley Kennard; seven great grandchildren, Ahdriana Wilson; Aliyah Wilson; Chase Damsen; Emma Damsen; Makenna Rose Kelly; Alivia Kelly and Grayson Kelly; a special niece whom she thought of as a daughter, Kellie Rottman; a special friend whom she thought of as a son, Scott Williams; several nieces and nephews. A brother, James Kwapis, has predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Randy Kelly will officiate. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service.
