Audrey Fay (Cormier) Dimmitt Audrey Fay (Cormier) Dimmitt, 89, died Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born July 12, 1924, in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada, one of 6 children of William & Daisy (Ross) Cormier. She married Albert Wendell Dimmitt August 8, 1942 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. They raised their family in Michigan, then retired to Mr. Dimmitt's hometown of Greencastle, Missouri just prior to his death in 1985. Thirteen years ago Mrs. Dimmitt came back to Michigan to live with her daughter, Deanna Hatter. Mrs. Dimmitt loved poetry & Detroit Tigers baseball. She rarely missed getting her weekly lottery tickets, & never turned down a trip to the casino. She is survived by 4 daughters, Deanna Hatter, Sandra (Pete) Yori, Debbie (Mike) Peavler, Cynthia Warner; 5 grandchildren, Sarah & Jason (Jenn) Hatter, Jeffrey Yori, Brian & Brandon (Jennifer) Peavler; 4 great-grandchildren, Jaymee Mills, Ryan, Aaron, & Jenna Peavler. She is predeceased by her parents & siblings, her husband, daughter Sharon Cauble, grandson Steven Cauble. Cremation has taken place.
