Artie Marie Pearson Merrill, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at her home. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Bertha and Christopher Hop was born July 4, 1922 in Ireton, Iowa. She married Floyd Layton Pearson, March 11, 1946. He passed away June 4, 1979. She is survived by 9 children and their spouses, Bonnie and David Parcham; Sylvia and Don Klatt; Marlus and Harold Deming; Floyd (Sonny) Pearson; Barbara Leiner; John Pearson; Laura Leiner; Linda Johnson; Debra and Frank Leiner; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline Wilcox and Delores Spowe; She was predeceased by several grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters, and two sons-in-law, Chuck Leiner and Harry Johnson. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial in Lakefield Twp. Cemetery Friends may call at the chapel in Merrill from Noon Monday until the time of the funeral service.
