Ardith R. (Ardie) Zimmerman

Zimmerman, Ardith R. (Ardie) Saginaw, Michigan Ardie passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at St. Francis Home. Age 87 years. She was born February 24, 1925 in Tawas City, Michigan to the late Arthur and Clara (Lietz) Anschuetz. She moved to Saginaw as a teenager and married Raymond W. Zimmerman, June 19, 1948. She, with her husband, were members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and later St. Mark Lutheran Church. Raymond passed away September 1, 1999. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Janet Zimmerman, Freeland, MI; David and Mary Jo Zimmerman, Ordway, CO; three granddaughters and their spouses, Kenny and Jenny Thomas, Lapeer, MI; Kyle and Amber Walkington, Frisco, TX; Crystal Zimmerman, Frankenmuth, MI; two step-grandchildren, Jeanelle Porto (Lando) and Brandon Paugh(Amber); two step-great grandchildren, Cooper and Madison; three half-brothers, and their spouses, Gerald (Jake) and Diane Anschuetz, Tawas, MI; Larry and Dorothy Anschuetz, Tecumseh, MI; Charles (Chuck) and Sue Anschuetz, Tawas, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sisters, Eileen Rempert and half-siblings, Arthur Jr. and Carol Anschuetz. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Edward Meyer will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral service.
