Alice E. Cruz

Cruz, Alice E. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Cartwright Care Center, age 85 years. Alice was born in San Antonio, Texas June 19, 1927 the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Arredondo) Kapp. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Alice was an avid bowler. She loved to crochet and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Alice is survived by a son, Frankie (Cathy) Cruz; two grandchildren, Frank Cruz and Wendy (Kip) Humpert; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Alec and Max; many nieces and nephews, including Alice Wilson, who helped take care of her aunt. She was predeceased by a son, Frederick; a grandchild, Robert; a brother and sister-in-law, Adolph (Mary) Kapp; a sister and brother-in-law, Irene (Juan) Martinez. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Monday from 2:00 5:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. where they may join the family at 7:30 p.m. for a parish vigil service. Friends may also call at church Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
