Albert J. Spencer (Shorty) Birch Run, Michigan Passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 76 years. The son of the late Floyd and LaVada (Allen) Spencer was born March 3, 1939 in Saginaw County, Michigan. He married Judith M. Carlton, July 14, 1961. She survives him. Albert served with the U. S. Army and was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1996 with 31 years of service. He enjoyed farming, and most of all, his family. Surviving besides his wife, Judith, are two children and their spouses, Traci and Rich Trogen; Albert John Spencer Jr. and his wife, Kari; three grandchildren, Kyle Trogen and his wife, Megan; Jackie and Jenni Trogen; two nieces, Mary Cooper and Dawn Spencer. He was predeceased by two brothers and sister, Bob Jinks, Allen Spencer and Patsy Morse. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 2400 King Rd. Saginaw, MI. Pastor R. B. Ouellette will officiate. Friends may call at the Church for 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral service.
