- Hemlock, Michigan - Loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on Saturday February 27, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Age 80 years. The son of the late Emil and Marion (Fischer) Fleischmann was born on November 2, 1929 in Saginaw. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 1947. He married Mary Louise Wardin on September 22, 1950, she predeceased him in 1998. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Wolohan Lumber Company. He was a member of the VFW Post #1566 and the American Legion Post 439. Surviving are two children; Michael Thomas (Julie) Fleischmann, Louise Ann Fleischmann, both of Hemlock; grandchildren Lisa (Keith) O’Laughlin, of Saginaw, Thomas James Fleischmann, Lucas Robert Fleischmann, Bradley Michael Fleischmann, all of Hemlock; a great-granddaughter Morgan Mae O’Laughlin, two sisters; Joan (Randall) Hall of Saginaw, Leta (Wally) Techentein of Arvada, Co. and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Thomas’s wishes, private services have taken place.
