- Bridgeport, MI - Passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at his home, age 61 years. Dale was born in Saginaw, Michigan March 26, 1948 the son of the late James and Lorette (Hinz) Jorgensen, Sr. He married Joyce Mangus September 8, 1972. She predeceased him November 27, 1995. Dale served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and watching sports on the TV. He loved playing the scratch off lottery tickets. Dale is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Fedder; his four granddogs, Dixie, Hunter, Scout and Shelby; a sister, Nancy Schultz; a sister-in-law, Merry (James) Graham; a brother-in-law, Edward (Miriam) Mangus, Jr.; two aunts; one uncle; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brother, James Jorgensen, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Paul Schultz and a sister-in-law, Judy Lehto. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at W. L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate with military services under the auspices of VFW Post No. 7542, Birch Run.
