Passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, at the age of 87 years.
Maxine M. Hall was born June 1, 1922, in Fairgrove, MI to the late Leward and Zilda (Bradworth) Hall. She married John Miller on November 2, 1946, he predeceased her on March 15, 1987. She always enjoyed working with children which led to her work with the Bluebirds and the Campfire girls. She taught for the Saginaw County A.R.C. before working for the Buena Vista School System. She enjoyed playing BINGO and once she actually won the Progressive jackpot. She loved going to the casino with her longtime friend Bunny. She also loved attending sporting events and dance recitals for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Norm) Hess and Linda (Ken) Fischer; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Geraldine Greer; a cousin and many nieces, nephews; and good friends Almon and Sue Mason. She was predeceased by a son Thomas Miller and by a brother Leward Hall Jr..
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Kathryn Snedeker will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
