- Bridgeport, Michigan - Passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010, at his home. Age 53 years. The son of the late Forrest and Nina (Thompson) Britton was born September 7, 1956 in Bay City, Michigan. He was employed by General Motors Corp. (Delphi) retiring in 2005 with thirty-one years of service. He was of the Lutheran Faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Justin and Shannon Britton; Brandon and Hollie Britton, all of Bridgeport, MI; two grandsons, Jonathan and Joseph; two sisters and three brothers, Sandra Biskner; Patricia Britton; Dennis, David and Alvin Britton; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate.
