Veronica Flores Strudgeon, age 49, of Saginaw, MI, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt (Tita), and sister, was called to her Glory on October 9th with her family by her side after a battle with cancer.

She was united in Holy matrimony with her husband, Ray Strudgeon in Saginaw on February 5, 2005. He survives her. Also surviving are her parents, Rene and Maria C. (Casarez) Flores, two sisters, Rebecca (Dennis) Grai, Elizabeth (Elias) Torres, and half-brother, Roberto Salinas, all from Saginaw.

In addition she leaves her five children, Alexandra (Armando) Rodriguez (Clio, MI), Tracy (Heath) Morden, (Canton, MI), Jennifer (Steve) Strudgeon, (Rapid City, MI), Raymond (Brittany) Strudgeon, (West Palm, FL), and Daniel (Maxine) Strudgeon.

Her surviving grandchildren, the loves of her life, are Olivia and Tanner Morden, Bam and Kyra Cullimore, Melody and Sai Strudgeon, Harmony Strudgeon and Christina Rodriguez. She also leaves her special loves, nephew Emilio Torres, and Audrey Torres Barney, Goddaughters, Samantha Krease, Lauren Pattok, and Alexis Lumbreras.

Veronica graduated from Nouvel Catholic Central High School, class of 1986. She also proudly graduated from the Great Lakes Bay Hispanic Leadership Institute in 2015. She was chosen by her classmates to receive a leadership award for her contributions to the community. She worked for the Diocese of Saginaw as a coordinator.

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as a lector, Sunday school teacher, and Eucharistic minister and EXTRA ORDINARY MINISTER of the HOLY EUCHARIST.

Veronica's love of family knew no bounds. She loved planning and hosting events with loved ones around her. She loved spending time with her children and especially doted on her grandchildren. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and she and Ray never missed an opening day. #CNFBFOREVER!
