Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Brian’s House on Wednesday January 8, 2020, at the age of 83 years. Patricia was born December 8, 1936 to the late William and Dorothy (Warner) Rivett in Saginaw. She attended Saginaw High School. Patricia later married the love of her life and best friend, Gerald “Jerry” Greenwald on April 10, 1954 in Saginaw. The two shared 65 wonderful years together.

Her hobbies included going to the casino, playing bingo, having card parties, and boating. Patricia was an avid baker; she especially loved the Christmas season. During Christmas she would bake cookies for everyone. Most of all she was devoted to her Christian faith and spending time with her loving family.

Surviving besides her husband Jerry are her two children Roxanne (Jan) Salgat, Gerald K. (Eileen Christmas) Greenwald and her son in law Barry Shafer. She is also survived by her granddaughter Jessica Ann Greenwald, her sister Sandra Schnieder and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by daughter Deborah Shafer and her siblings Calvin Rivett, Jerry Rivett, Robert Rivett and Diane Smith.
